Now that you are a happy owner of our handmade dog gear, it’s important to take good care of it.
Gear wash
You can wash everything with mild soap, Luke warm water and a soft cloth. You can gentle machine wash our rope leads, (treat) bags,, wild & free harnesses and rope collars on 30 degrees and a gentle program. Put the product in a wash bag or pillow case. Let the products dry in the air. Our biothane products are very easy to clean by hand with some mild soap You can dry the Biothane products with a towel.
We recommend washing the products with water after a beach adventure with salt water.
After care and hardware care
After you washed the products you can take care of the leather products with some special leather care to keep it greased.
And take care of the hardware with some special care oil like WD40 to make it smoothly again. To make the gold hardware more shiny again you can use a jewelry cloth, which you get for free from us when you order a product with gold hardware.
Always check your gear before use, nothing is indestructible.
Muzzle care
You can easily wash your muzzles with lukewarm water, mild soap and a soft cloth. We recommend washing the muzzle with water after a beach adventure with salt water.
Our colored muzzles are hand-finished with a durable coating. As these are products designed for active use, normal signs of wear may develop over time, particularly on high-contact areas such as the front of the muzzle where repeated contact with hard surfaces can occur. This is considered normal wear and does not affect the function or safety of the muzzle.
